FIREFIGHTERS remained on Green Island on Saturday, following the earlier blaze that ripped through a luxury dream home.
Crews, from afar afield as Cranborne, Maiden Newton and Gillingham, were ferried to the island throughout the night.
Fire investigators are now working to determine what sparked the fire, which decimated the three-storey, eco-home of millionaire Edward Iliffe.
A building control officer was due to arrive on the island, in Poole Harbour, Saturday morning.
