A COLLISION on the Wessex Way caused tailbacks to motorists heading into Bournemouth this morning.
The two-vehicle collision took place just before 8.45am on the southbound carriageway near Holdenhurst Road.
Both drivers escaped without injury but the road is still partially blocked.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said the local authority had been called to help clear the incident.
Traffic was said to be queuing back to Blackwater junction.
