A BOURNEMOUTH mum accused of having sex with two schoolboys told one of them not to talk to the police on the day an official complaint was made about her, a court heard.

The jury in the trial of 42-year-old Davina Travi were yesterday shown a recorded video interview with a teenage boy, who claimed Travi had sex with him on two separate occasions.

Mother-of-five Travi, of Rochester Road, Kinson, denies three charges of sexual activity with a child, allegedly committed in April 2010 and involving two boys aged 14 and 13 who are unrelated to her.

In the recorded interview, shown to the jury at Bournemouth Crown Court, one of the alleged victims told how between 10 and 20 young people would regularly go to Travi’s previous house to “sit, talk to friends, watch films, order food, sometimes drink”.

The teenager, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, said the first sexual encounter occurred after Travi asked him and his friend to damage the car of her ex-boyfriend’s new partner.

“We just walked around the block and came back,” he said. “That was when she told me to go out of the room and for (his friend) to stay and I think that’s when she slept with him.”

He said he waited for his friend to come out and then he went in and had sex with her.

In the interview, he also claimed Travi went on to send them texts containing three question marks as an indication that she wanted sex.

He said his friend’s girlfriend eventually leaked news of the alleged sexual encounters and his friend went to the police. He claimed he then received a call from Travi.

“She called me and told me not to say anything,” he said.

When asked why he thought that was, he said: “Because she didn’t want to get caught out.”

The case continues.
