For old times' sake, a host of top DJ’s are returning to the O2 Academy Bournemouth for The Superheroes of Slinky.

The billing includes international DJ’s Judge Jules and Lisa Lashes plus a host of other favourites.

Speaking to the Daily Echo, Radio One DJ Judge Jules is eagerly awaiting his return to the Slinky turntables: “It’s one of my favourite venues to play and it’s always a banker for atmosphere. With regards to my set you can expect the usual chunky, uplifting and banging range of tracks,” says Jules, 45.

Also making an appearance will be the original queen of dance music and Slinky legend Lisa Lashes, who makes her return to Bournemouth after a two-year absence. The trance DJ has been on the club scene since 1996 and a pioneering figure for female DJ’s.

“I have lots of brand new tunes released and unreleased so I will be playing some exclusive tracks on the night. I’m still part of a very rare fraternity of female DJ’s giving men a run for their money.

“You can also expect about ten girlies-dancing on the stage with me as all my friends want to come. We all love Slinky Bournemouth and are looking forward to a great night,” says Lisa.
