BOURNEMOUTH old boys The Superimposers are faced with a modern dilemma. Which format do they release their latest EP?

You see Miles Copeland and fellow Superimposer Dan Solo also run their own record label called Wonderful Sounds.

“We were working all the way up to Christmas. Write it, finish it and get it out. Being our own record label means we’re totally in control of everything,” says Miles.

The band had planned to release the new tracks via iTunes, but they have been overwhelmed with requests for vinyl copies of the EP.

The Superimposers have taken the unorthodox step of launching an appeal for those who would like vinyl copies.

“It’s going to be a 10” four track EP and it will be a nice thing. Those that have contacted us so far have been DJ’s and vinyl aficionados.”

Miles and Dan have high hopes for 2012, with a string of releases and live appearances in the offing.

“The idea is to put out this EP now and then release another in March. Then it will be a gradual build up to an album and touring.”
