A FASHIONABLE swap shop event will be held to raise funds for The Wessex Autistic Society on March 3.

Bournemouth University students will be holding the event which gives people the chance to swap their old clothes with someone elses.

Louise Trott, community events fundraiser said: “All you need to do is collect all your unwanted clothes to bring to the event, choose from the items that others have bought, swap and come home with a whole new outfit.

“Moreover, you will get an opportunity to get a free beauty treatment, listen to live music, play the raffle and chill out with your friends over cocktails.”

Each attendee must bring one item, which is clean and washed. Jewellery and accessories are also wanted.

If you can’t attend the event but want to donate, items can be dropped off at The Wessex Autistic Society’s head office in Christchurch up to March 2.

The event will take place between 2pm-6pm at Sherbet Lounge in Bournemouth costing £3 in advance. Visit sherbetbournemouth.com/index
