A semi-professional footballer from Bournemouth admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm when he appeared before Bournemouth Crown Court.
Rico Wilson, who plays for Dorchester Town, pleaded guilty to inflicting GBH to Sebastian McWilliams.
The 20-year-old ex-Cherries youth player, who lives at Stone Gardens in Townsend, will appear for sentence on March 7. Wilson, who has also played for Bournemouth Poppies and Wimborne Town, pleaded not guilty to charges of inflicting GBH with intent and assault by beating on the same date and the pleas were accepted by the prosecution who said they would not proceed.
