Kelly's Kitchen relocation bid approved
JUBILENT supporters of Kelly’s Kitchen celebrated on Thursday night after councillors voted to allow the cafe to move into the former Jarvis Radio premises.
The U-turn, following recommendations by officers to refuse the change of use for the former High Street shop, was greeted with applause by the majority of the packed out committee room.
Cafe owners Terry and Rose Kelly hope to start work as soon as possible, as they have to be out of their current premises next to Christchurch Library by March 1.
