SCHOOLCHILDREN and their parents may have witnessed an alleged gang attack in the Kinson area of Bournemouth which left a man with facial injuries.

The 30-year-old victim, who lives locally, was set upon in Poole Lane near the junction with Durdells Avenue at around 3.20pm on Friday January 13.

DC Wendy Stout said: “I understand that there would have been lots of people in the area collecting children from the nearby Christ The King Infant School.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who saw a silver Ford Focus in the area at the time.”

A 33-year-old Liverpool man, a 23-year-old Bournemouth man and a 21-year-old Bournemouth woman have all been arrested and released on police bail.

Emma Clark, acting headteacher at Christ The King Primary School said: “We are aware of the incident and understand the police are appealing for witnesses.”
