THE RSPB has organised two special events this weekend to coincide with the Big Garden Birdwatch.
Tomorrow the wildlife charity is leading a walk around Upton Country Park to see how many birds can be found and on Sunday will be at Avon Heath Country Park making bird boxes and running a bird scavenger hunt.
“Both these events will be great fun and an excellent way to help celebrate Big Garden Birdwatch weekend,” said Sarah-Jane Buckle, who organised the event for the RSPB.
“And don’t worry if you don’t know the difference between a robin and a blue tit we’ll be there to help you out and we have binoculars you can borrow too.”
For details contact Sarah-Jane Buckle on 07703 607630.
To take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch spend one hour over the weekend counting the birds in your garden or local park and record the highest number of each bird species seen at one time.
