A CHRISTCHURCH student’s winning logo is to be displayed on Keith Motors promotional material.

Robbie Farwell, a pupil at Twynham School, entered the competition as part of the company’s 60th anniversary celebrations.

The dealership teamed up with the Sopers Lane academy for the competition and more than 50 art students across three year groups entered.

The logos were whittled down to 20 finalists and posted on Keith Motors’ Facebook page during the summer.

Robin Webb, dealer principle at Keith Motors said: “We already have a close relationship with Twynham, via the vocational motor mechanics workshop so it was only natural to also work with the school on this.

“We were truly staggered by the professional quality of the students’ entries.

“We would also like to thank everyone who took the time to vote online.”

Robbie, 12, said: “It’s amazing to win. This was actually my second design. My first one I binned at the end of the lesson because I didn’t like it and I started again.”

He won a Panasonic camera and starter kit presented in class by Mr Webb and Robert Keith, operations manager and grandson of the firm’s founder.
