AN inquest into the death of a rugby player who drowned in the Lake District recorded a verdict of accidental death.
Sam Yarwood, 22, from Dorset, drowned when his two-man kayak capsized during heavy winds on Ullswater.
He was canoeing the length of three lakes with a friend in April but had no experience.
His body was found after a major search and rescue operation. His friend made it to shore, the Kendal inquest heard.
