JURORS in a Bournemouth Crown Court trial have been taken on a site visit to help them put the evidence into context during a break from the prosecution evidence.
The 12 men and women were taken to Kinson Common and to Redhill in Bournemouth and are now back in court.
Four men are accused of robbing 78-year-old farmer Leonard Langdown, who was allegedly beaten and threatened in his remote home in Bloxworth in March this year.
A fifth is accused of handling stolen goods.
The prosecution claim that Jake Borland, 21, of Beswick Avenue, Bournemouth, Michael Seddon, 22, of Bootle, Merseyside and Samir Lammali, 21, of Alton Road, Bournemouth, subjected Mr Langdown to a horrific ordeal during which they threatened to shoot him, cut off his fingers and stab his dog to death.
Caleb Holland, 43, of Bedford Road South, Poole, is accused of robbery but is not said to have been present at the farm.
A fifth man, Ryan Dear, 21, of Frensham Close, Bournemouth, is accused of handling stolen goods.
All five men deny the charges against them. The trial continues.
