A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car at Ashley Heath this morning.
The incident involving a female driver in her eighties and a male cyclist took place in Horton Road, Ashley Heath around 10.40am.
Police officers are on scene and have closed the road.
The cyclist was initially reported to be unconscious but was taken to Poole Hospital by ambulance “conscious and breathing”, said a spokesperson for Dorset Police.
The elderly female driver was reportedly suffering from shock.
