DON’T you just love the great British weather?
Just when we’ve all packed away the barbecues and the garden furniture, glorious weather is heading for Dorset.
Temperatures are set to hit 72 degrees by Saturday – a spectacular start to October – and the build-up to the weekend doesn’t look too bad either.
The topsy-turvy summer has seen us pack and unpack our shorts more times than you can say umbrella.
April saw 100,000 people soaking up the Easter sun on Bournemouth beaches.
And the school summer holidays were disappointing – as usual – with sunny beach days few and far between.
How can we forget nearly being washed away by torrential rain on the first day of the Bournemouth Air Festival, only to be roasting on the beach by the second day?
And now we’re all looking forward to welcoming October with a garden party or a day splashing about in the surf.
So get the deckchairs out and make the most of it – it will probably be snowing by next week.
