ESSEX Fashion Week, as debuted on ITV2’s The Only Way is Essex, is coming to Sandbanks.

Reality TV stars Amy Childs, Mark Wright and Lydia Bright could be among those strutting their stuff on the catwalk at the June extravaganza.

For now, organiser and fashion designer Adam Ryan is keeping the location under wraps, but he’s also in talks with venues in Bournemouth.

Adam told the Daily Echo: “People can expect to see some of the cast and some really good models.

“Our last show in Essex three weeks ago was a massive hit, and some of the same designers will be involved when we come to the coast. But I’ll be looking for local designers and boutiques to showcase too.”

The Only Way is Essex, now in its second series, introduced millions of viewers to ‘vajazzling’, fake tans and boob jobs.

And Adam, who starred in the first run, thinks Poole will love it all too.

“I came to Sandbanks years ago for a week’s holiday with my family,” the 26-year-old said.

“Since then I’ve seen a lot about it on television.

“It’s so affluent and beautiful – I just can’t wait for June. People can expect everything from clubwear to couture.

“It will still be very ‘Essex’. There’ll be dogs in outfits and some wicked performers showing off their talents.”

The fashion week has had great write-ups in leading fashion mag Drapers.

Adam, who’s been working in fashion for five years, added: “Sometimes Essex can be overlooked and people can write us off as show offs.

“But I think it’s eclectic. There will be great snappy outfits, people dripping in crystals and lots of colour all mixed together in a big fashion cooking pot.”
