Wimborne’s newly opened entertainment venue, Vibe Lounge, will be hosting the first of its regular monthly Comedy Nights this Saturday.

The evening promises hilarious stand-up from Nick Helm, Stefano Paolini and George Egg.

Nick Helm started stand-up comedy in 2007 and quickly gained attention from across the industry for his unique, powerful and above all hilarious blend of one-liners, stories, poems and songs.

In addition, he is also a strong, energetic compere and was seen recently performing on BBC’s Russell Howard’s Good News.

Second on the bill is Stefano Paolini, an impressionist and beatboxer.

He has provided voices for Channel 4’s animated series Bromwell High, BBC 2’s Double Take and on Radio 4’s Dead Ringers, and made his Edinburgh debut with the show Britalian, about his half-English, half-Italian heritage in 2005.

Finishing off the comedy trio is George Egg. Wildly brandishing the worlds’ second largest briefcase containing ridiculous props, George bounds onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting, innovative and sweetly whimsical comedy shows you are likely to see.

George Egg has been a professional stand-up comedian, actor and writer for the last ten years and has been hailed as ‘a Tommy Cooper for the 21st century’.

Tickets can be bought at www.vibe lounge.co.uk. Tickets are £10 (buy one get one free in April) and are available from Square Records in Wimborne or on the door (subject to availability).
