TOM Killick believes Poole Town’s directors deserve to be rewarded with a sell-out 2,000 crowd for their home FA Vase semi-final tie on March 26.

But it looks like Dolphins’ manager won’t have to worry about that target not being reached as he told the Echo yesterday: “I think we’ve sold more than 1,000 already. It was a good call from the directors to play our first leg against Whitley Bay at home rather than at Dean Court.

“If we’d played at Dean Court, we would probably have got more than 2,000. So it would be a bit of a kick in the teeth for our directors if they said ‘we play at Tatnam’ and don’t get the 2,000 we’re limited to there. I hope we will sell the full allocation.”

Vase tickets are on sale tonight at the County Ground, Hamwor-thy, where Poole clash with Dorchester Town in the Dorset Senior Cup semi-final (7.45pm).

Killick, whose side face a crucial showdown at Wessex Premier title rivals Winchester City on Saturday, said: “With that league game only two days away, I’ll have to rotate things around with the players.”
