Poole’s MPs are being urged not to support further increases in the EU budget, in a motion to Borough of Poole by Cllr Tony Woodcock.
He says that while the council is facing a 14.2 per cent reduction in its financial settlement for 2011/12, the UKs contribution to the European Union has risen by 60 per cent over two years.
