US rap queen Missy Elliott is gearing up to get her freak on and give Bournemouth its first proper taste of Premier League bling when she plays the BIC on October 7.

The show - the first the BIC has hosted by a major American rap star - is being billed as a Battle of the Misses with a strong support bill topped by the UK's very own street princess, Ms Dynamite, and hosted by British R&B star Shola Ama.

But not even North London's feisty pocket rocket of rhyme can compete with Missy Elliott's diva-style demands.

We've had a peak at Miss E's rider for the BIC show and got a flavour of how one of hip hop's biggest stars lives on the road as she promotes her latest album, The Cookbook, with the help of a 35-strong entourage.

She has asked for:

  • 35 assorted first and business class flights
  • Two five-star hotel suites
  • 33 five-star hotel rooms
  • Six undercover security guards
  • Unlimited Cristal Champagne
  • Dinner for 35 at Bournemouth's Landmarc restaurant
  • Peanut M&Ms
  • Hershey chocolate bars with almonds
  • Jolly Rancher lollipops
  • Cheese Doodles (cheese puffs)
  • Cheeto's
  • Bubblegum - water melon, strawberry and rape flavours
  • Water - plain and flavoured
  • Gatorade - tropical, fruit punch and grape flavours
  • Schweppes or Canada Dry ginger ale
  • Diet Coke
  • Straws
  • Ramen noodles (chicken mushroom flavour)
  • Louisiana hot sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Plastic cups, bowls, knives, forks, spoons
  • Two scented Bond 9 candles from a store on Park Avenue, New York
  • Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio - regarded as the quality benchmark of Pinot Grigio white wines
  • Patron Silver - a light, fresh tequila favoured by connoisseurs

There's also an instruction that whatever is bought for her should be sealed and packaged.

Certainly sounds like a hell of a party to us...
