LET’S get ready to rumble as two of the biggest stars of British wrestling clash at the BIC on Sunday.

Robbie Brookside defends his PWF heavyweight crown against James Mason on a star-studded championship bill that also includes two more title matches and a ladies bout.

Brookside, the iconic Liverpool lad, and Mason, who will be making his first appearance in Bournemouth, are arguably Britain’s top two heavyweights of the modern era.

Their contest on the special half-term spectacular, which sees big-time wrestling return to the BIC from its regular venue in the Pavilion ballroom, promises to be a classic.

Bournemouth double-trophy winner Joel Redman, who left the Pavilion ring in December clutching the Ken Joyce Trophy, one of the most prestigious awards in the wrestling calendar, is another man on a mission.

Redman, who also won the 2010 rumblemania trophy event, clashes with Scotland’s rugged campaigner, The UK Dominator, in a battle for the PWF International Championship.

And in the afternoon’s third title match, Wonder Kid Jonny Storm puts his lightweight belt on the line against Midlands star Gareth Harris.

The five-bout Championship Wrestling Spectacular on Sunday starts at 3pm.
