THE body pulled from the water at Poole has been confirmed as that of missing West Moors man David Henry King.

The body, spotted by staff at Poole’s RNLI HQ, was recovered on Thursday, February 17.

An inquest opened at Stafford Road coroner’s court on Monday afternoon heard evidence that the 48-year-old had been confirmed dead at Poole Quay. The cause of death is unascertained.

Mr King had been missing for two months. His disappearance after a night out with colleagues was a mystery.

Last week his mum made an emotional plea to him to come home if he could.

He was last seen at the Antelope Inn in Poole at 12.30am on Saturday, December 18, but never made it back to the Thistle Hotel on Poole Quay.
