AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a mother-of-two whose body was discovered at a Parkstone bungalow just before Christmas.
Diane Goode, 46, from Poole, was found on the sofa of the semi-detached property on Curtis Road on December 23.
Ms Goode’s death is still being treated as unexplained and the cause has yet to be established.
An initial post-mortem proved inconclusive and police are awaiting results of toxicology tests.
A 29-year-old Poole man was arrested and questioned by detectives following the death. He has since been released on bail and no charges have been brought. Ms Goode had two teenage girls and previously worked at Scissors hair salon in Poole’s High Street.
Friends and colleagues described her as “the life and soul of the party” and a “ray of sunshine”.
Last week’s inquest was adjourned and a full hearing into Ms Goode’s death will be opened at a later date.
