DETECTIVES are hunting a man who forced his way into a woman’s parked car and tried to kiss her.

The attack, which left the 22-year-old woman shocked, took place on Salisbury Road, Poole.

Now police have released an e-fit of the attacker, left.

It happened on January 12, around 6.20pm, while the lone woman was sitting in her black Ford Focus car.

The man knocked on her window and as she opened the door slightly to see what he wanted, he forced his way in and tried to kiss her.

After the victim shouted out at him, the attacker quickly left.

Det Con Paul Chessell said: “I would urge anyone who recognises this man to contact me as soon as possible.

The victim was left very upset by this offence and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this to contact the police.”

The suspect is white, aged in his twenties or early thirties, slim to medium build, with blond wavy hair.

• A 21-year-old man initially arrested in connection with this incident has since been eliminated from police enquiries and released without charge.
