THIS week we finally get to see if psychological thriller Black Swan really is as wonderfully melodramatic as we’ve heard.

Natalie Portman danced her way to victory at the Golden Globes picking up best actress for her performance in the Darren Aronofsky film and is tipped to get an Oscar.

Ballerina Nina (Portman) competes against fellow dancer Lily (Mila Kunis) for the starring role in the production of Swan Lake by a New York ballet school.

Nina fits the role of the White Swan, while Lily is the embodiment of the Black Swan, but the show requires a ballerina to play both parts. Nina starts to channel another side of herself in preparation as the Black Swan and obsession soon gets out of control.

If that all sounds a bit too dark for you, Rachel McAdams plays Becky - a TV producer on breakfast show “Daybreak” (no, not the one with Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley) in rom com Morning Glory. She decides to give the show a new lease of life by bringing on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford).

Mike refuses to cover the usual morning show staples or even work with his new co-host Colleen Peck (Diane Keaton) and things begin to get tricky for Becky.

Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Connelly and Winona Ryder star in relationship comedy The Dilemma.

Ronny (Vaughn) discovers his best friend/business partner’s wife is having an affair with another man and the pressure is on him to reveal the truth.
