POLICE have released CCTV footage of a man they want to question in connection with the theft of a Poole pensioner’s shopping bags.
The elderly victim was said to be “very distressed” by the theft, which took place last month outside Poole’s Dolphin Shopping Centre.
Investigators have only just made the decision to release the CCTV image.
PC Simon Perry, of Poole police, said: “I would urge this man, and anybody who recognises him, to contact me as soon as possible.”
It happened between 12.10-12.35pm on Saturday, November 20.
The victim had left his shopping bags outside the Shopmobility centre along Kingland Service Road, behind the shopping centre.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 01202 222 222.
