OFFERS of help are continuing to flood in to help make a five-year-old boy’s last months as happy as possible.

Little David has been diagnosed with a fatal brain tumour and his family has launched an appeal to make his wishes come true.

A Wishlist for David has been drawn up by The Red Ranger Fund, named after David’s favourite Power Ranger.

And thanks to Daily Echo readers, nearly all of the wishes have been granted. The little boy will meet Santa and the Power Rangers and will also receive a new games console.

The family will have professional photographs taken, a snow machine will give them a white Christmas and a children’s entertainer will also visit David.

A trip to Disneyland Paris in January is now possible thanks to an offer to insure the trip.

Latest offers of help include an invitation to Asda Poole’s children’s Christmas party, a donation for a special treat from Charity Road Trips and a visit to RAF Lyneham to see the Vulcan XH558.

Brockenhurst College’s rugby team are raising money for the appeal by organising a wear red day at the college and Poole Hospital’s Santa has offered his services.

Family friend Graham Hadfield said the family is “over the moon” with the offers of help: “We have all been amazed by the appeal and would like to thank everyone who offered to help.”

David was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in September and is currently undergoing six weeks of intensive radiotherapy.

Doctors have told his family the treatment should allow him to live as a normal child for around two months but, after that time, his future is uncertain.

Anyone who wishes to help can donate to the Red Ranger Community Fund at HSBC, sort code 40-17-22, account number 81558196.
