ROWING 3,000 miles across the Atlantic is a ridiculous thing to do, even if you are a two-time gold medal Olympian rower like James Cracknell.

The idea that Ben Fogle former Blue Peter labrador puppy turned wildlife presenter should even entertain the idea seems even more bizarre.

Sadly, the documentary offers little more than a straight run-though of events, and seems to leave several big rocks unturned.

It gives us rumours of hallucinations, nervous breakdowns and blind rage, but we get to see precious little of them. It will no doubt be a hit with Ben's legion of housewife fans, but it's hard to imagine why anyone else would want to own it on DVD.
