THIS is the remarkable and moving account of a young African Muslim woman’s journey from Somalia to America.
Born and raised in Somalia, she took refuge in Holland after escaping a forced marriage to a distant cousin she’d never met.
After learning Dutch, getting a college degree and working as an interpreter, she became more aware of the ill treatment and inequality of women, especially within Muslim communities, and observed how reluctant Muslim immigrants were to integrate into Western society.
She urges the West to compete with the jihadis through education to win the hearts and minds of the ever-increasing Muslim immigrant population.
