BUCCANEERS have been rocked by the news that Jerran Hart’s season is over after an horrific crash in a rain-lashed meeting at Redcar on Thursday night.
Hart was thrown over the safety fence and collided with a post in the pits area, sustaining a split heel and broken wrist, as well as other injuries.
He was taken to Redcar hospital where early reports are indicating he may need two to three operations during his long recovery programme.
Team boss Garry May is seeking a guest replacement for tomorrow’s meetings against King’s Lynn and Rye House (2.30pm).
