A 76-year-old cyclist was killed on Sunday morning after he rode into the back of a broken down car.
The accident happened on the A35 Upton bypass near to the Holes Bay roundabout, Poole.
The rider from Weymouth was taking part in an organised time trial and appears not to have seen the Renault Clio with its hazard lights on, say police.
The road was closed for two hours.
