PURBECK Film Festival, in association with the Asian Women’s Association, presents this Bollywood afternoon.
A 16th century love story about a marriage of convenience that lead to true love between a great Mughal emperor, Akbar, and a Rajput princess, Jodhaa.
From the battlefield where the young Jalaluddin was crowned, through the conquests that won him the title of Akbar the Great, to winning the love of the beautiful Jodhaa, the film traces the impressive story of the mighty emperor and his romance with the defiant princess.
The Rex is opening its doors from 2pm and there’s Indian food from the Rajpoot restaurant.
