TWO men suspected of subjecting a Jewish woman to racist comments in the Boscombe area of Bournemouth have been captured on camera.

Police have released a photograph of the men they want to trace after their alleged victim heard shouts from outside her flat between 8.10pm and 8.15pm on Saturday.

PC Steve Griffin, of Bournemouth police, said the 55-year-old woman had felt "threatened, fearful and offended" after anti-Semitic comments were hurled in Manor Road.

The quick-thinking woman, who does not want to be identified, took a photograph of the two suspects who were carrying beer cans.

One is white, in his early 20s, with a skinny build and wearing a red shirt.

His companion is also white, aged in his early to mid-20s, with a muscular build but shorter.

He was wearing a white shirt.

PC Griffin said: "I am appealing to anyone who recognises the two men or knows their whereabouts to contact the police in complete confidence or use the Crimestoppers line anonymously as soon as possible. I am also interested to hear from anyone who may have heard anti-Semitic comments being shouted in the vicinity of Manor Road just after the end of the England v Portugal World Cup match in Germany.

"All calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.

"I am interested in any information no matter how insignificant it may seem."
