A BOURNEMOUTH man has been charged with the murder of a teaching assistant in Southbourne last week.
37-year-old Alan Thomas Pickersgill was formally charged with the rape and murder of 32-year-old Julie Bywater, who was discovered at the house in Wayside Road, Southbourne last Wednesday (May 5).
He is expected to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates court this morning.
