STUDENTS at The Grange School are being asked for their opinion about community issues as part of a new trial in Christchurch.
The Somerford secondary school has been chosen as part of a new initiative to create a junior version of the PACT organisations, which are operating locally.
YPACT will involve six pupils being elected to the panel as well as a chairman who will meet at monthly surgeries to discuss any concerns or issues raised by other students.
The group will be officially launched in January, with hopes to roll it out across Dorset next year if successful.
