THE night sky could well be worth a look tonight (Tuesday Nov 17) as the annual Leonids meteor shower should be at its most spectacular.
The tiny high-speed particles come from the tail of Comet 55 P/Tempel-Tuttle, which was last in the vicinity of the Earth in 1998.
Get away from light pollution of our towns for the best view. There is a new moon this evening so that should help.
