CRAFTY children in Highcliffe created spooky sights with play rangers in preparation for Halloween.
Sessions run by Christchurch play rangers over half-term have seen youngsters building dens, taking part in sessions with the NEOS play machine and as well as participating in Halloween activities.
Life-size witches, wizards and pirates were created by 40 youngsters at one session and the week is rounded off today with a treasure hunt at Waterman’s Park.
John Hibbert, one of the play rangers said: “All of our sessions during the school holidays are really busy but we also go around to parks after school during term-time to do some games with the children. The Halloween activities have been really popular.”
