GREASE star Olivia Newton-John who played Sandy in the classic teen movie, was in Bournemouth last night with her husband John Easterling as part of their Health & Wellness UK Tour.

Although the 60-year-old actress has been given the all clear after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, she still campaigns to encourage women to perform monthly breast self-exams.

The pair who married in Peru last June were staying at the town’s Highcliff Marriott Hotel.

In a phone interview a few days prior to her visit, Olivia said she was really looking forward to being back in Bournemouth.

“It was one of the first places I went to many years ago when I first started singing with Cliff [Richard] and The Shadows!”

The main purpose of their trip is to promote her husband’s new health drink, Zamu which is made from Amazon fruits and herbs.

As for her own health Olivia, who lives in Florida with John, says she’s never felt better.

“I’m feeling really well. In fact I haven’t had an illness since John and I got together two-and-a-half years ago. I don’t take anything else except John’s herbs.”
