ALL eyes will turn to the sky when the Red Arrows roar in for the Damerham Show on Saturday.

Phil Tandy has been attempting to get the RAF aces to the show for some years and has at last succeeded.

The team will start their display at 2.55pm which will fit in nicely with their aerial antics at Swanage Carnival later.

Other attractions lined up at the cricket ground include the return of real duck racing after a two-year break, a falconry display, ferret racing, Maypole dancing from the children of Western Downlands School, children’s sports and adult games including the wheelbarrow race, “guess the weight of the pony” competition and horticultural society show.

Last year’s event attracted more than 2,500 visitors.
