A “RAMBLE for Rwanda” is being held by students at The Shaftesbury School.
The sixth-formers will each walk five miles, contributing to a total mileage equivalent to the distance from Shaftesbury to the central African country.
Staff will join students on the sponsored walk around Shaftesbury, which is being held to raise funds for education projects in Rwanda.
Money raised will help The Shaftesbury School’s Rwandan partner, the Excel Bilingual School in Rwamagana, to build new premises and develop educational opportunities.
