Almost 2,000 years ago a group of people at the edge of society were overtaken by a new energy and purpose. The Spirit that transformed them revealed itself in many languages and to many people of different nationalities. It rejoiced in diversity because that enriches the lives of us all and is God’s gift to us at Pentecost.
