A MISSING cat has had quite the adventure as he travels across Poole in search of his owner.

Jess is a 10-year-old long-haired black and white cat that also goes by the name Fluffy.

He has been missing since April 19 from his home in Oakdale.

Since the disappearance, Jess has now been spotted at several places, including a pub and a petrol station.

His owner, Hayley Kent, 35 said: “He seems to be out on an adventure.

“He went missing a week ago today and we'd had no sightings and hadn't heard anything until yesterday.

Bournemouth Echo:

“I saw something on Facebook that someone had posted that he was seen trying to get into the George Inn pub in Poole.

“The landlady said he was being made quite a fuss of. He's very, very confident and friendly, so he'll go up to anybody.

“Since then, I've had lots and lots of messages and sightings of him from people locally saying he was trying to get into the maternity unit at Poole Hospital and he's been at the BP garage too.”

Jess has reportedly received a lot of love while on his travels.

Bournemouth Echo:

Hayley added: “Everyone said he's very, very friendly. He tried to enter the maternity unit and got stuck between the two reception doors."

“We just want him to stop with his adventure and come home.”

But, at the time of seeing him, no one knew he was missing so Jess is still wandering around Poole and the family is trying to locate their loved pet.

Jess can be identified by his exposed gum and distinctive chin.

The fluffy cat is also microchipped so can be taken to a vets if seen.
