A MAN was hit in the face by a pair of men on e-scooters in a park.

At around 6pm on Thursday, April 11, the victim, a man from Poole aged in his 60s, was hit in the face by the two men as they rode past him close to the skatepark in Baiter Park, Poole.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to minor head and facial injuries.

One of the offenders is described as aged 18, of large build, clean shaven and wearing a green bomber jacket.

The other offender is described as aged 18, of slim build, five foot eleven inches tall with stubbly facial hair and wearing black clothing.

Now, officers investigating the assault are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Police Constable Sarah Fuller, of Poole police, said: “This incident has had a significant impact on the victim and we are doing all we can to identify the offenders.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area of Baiter Park and saw what happened to please come forward.

“We know that the park was quite busy at this time so if you have information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
