OFFICERS are appealing for CCTV after a woman was seen shoplifting in Lymington.

Crystal quartz was among the items stolen from a market stall on High Street.

The incident occurred just after 11am on Saturday 6 April.

Now, officers are interested in speaking to a woman in relation to the incident.

She is described as white, aged between 65 and 80 years old, approximately 5ft 6ins tall with white/grey hair cut in a bob with thin black hair.

She was wearing a short grey jacket/coat with a diamond pattern, black lining, and zip, a white and blue shirt, black trousers, black shoes, and tinted glasses carrying a black handbag, plastic carrier bag, and Costa takeaway cup.

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any footage that could aid our investigation, please contact us.
