POLICE have seized and destroyed more than 600 cannabis plants in the space of a week.
Three properties have been raided and found with a total of 650 cannabis plants in Bournemouth and Poole.
'Well over' 350 plants were seized from adjoining properties in Parkstone in what police called a 'momentous’ operation.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Police said on Saturday, April 14: "The Neighbourhood Policing Team have been assisting their Poole colleagues today in dismantling a cannabis factory in two properties in Parkstone found by the Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Road Policing Team.
"A substantial amount of cannabis has been bagged up to be destroyed."
Elsewhere this week, around 300 cannabis plants were discovered after a raid at a Bournemouth property.
The plants were discovered inside a property in Palmerston Road.
The plants were found tucked into a room in the property, being grown by overhead lighting.
The spokesperson added: "This positive result, coupled with Bournemouth East cannabis factory discovery earlier this week shows how committed Dorset Police are at disrupting the supply of drugs."
