THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

KEATON DENNIS, 23 and of Cumnor Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in private place after being found with a butterfly knife in Cumnor Road in Bournemouth on July 26, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £26.

CARLIE PALMER, 50 and of Charminster Avenue in Bournemouth, admitted drug driving in Canford Way, Poole, on August 22, 2023. She was disqualified from driving for 17 months and handed a community order lasting until April 8, 2025, with a requirement to complete 40 hours of unpaid work. She was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £114.

NAADIR MECHAHOUGUI, 22 and of Colombia Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker after assaulting a police officer in Bournemouth on August 25, 2023. He also admitted drink driving on a moped in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on the same date. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay compensation of £50, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £96.

MIA-PAIGE PENNICK, 20 and of Gundry Lane in Bridport, admitted nine counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, after assaulting two police officers at Dorset County Hospital on February 26, two paramedics in South Street in Bridport on February 28, one police officer at Weymouth Police Station on February 27, one police officer at Weymouth Police Station on February 28, two police officers at St Ann's Hospital in Poole on February 28, and one police officer in Allington Mead in Bridport on February 27. She also admitted a charge of common assault of an emergency worker, after assaulting one police officer at Weymouth Police Station on March 6. She was handed a community order lasting until April 8, 2026, and ordered to pay compensation of £50.

DAMIEN ALEXANDER CHINCHEN, 47 and of Sunny Dene in Stour Row, admitted drink driving in Sturminster Newton on April 18, 2022. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48, and costs of £450 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

BENJAMIN ROSS SAINSBURY, 41 and of The Mount in Poulner, admitted speeding on the A338 Spur Road on October 15, 2022. He got three points on his licence. He was also fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MIHAI TRUSCA, 34 and of Commercial Road in Bournemouth, admitted committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made by Dorset Magistrates Court on August 11, 2023. He was jailed for 12 weeks.

JAMES MCLAUGHLIN, 55 and of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on October 23, 2023. He was handed a jail sentence of six weeks suspended for six months, and ordered to pay costs of £60.
