FORMER offices in Bournemouth town centre have been put on the market at a guide price of £2.75m.

Kingsland House, in Hinton Road, is up for sale following a successful planning application to convert the building into 30 apartments and 16 car parking spaces.

The five-storey building, found towards the south-eastern end of the road, sits on a site extending to approximately 0.26 acres.

The building is being marketed by Goadsby Commercial.

Company director James Edwards said: “As is normal with freehold redevelopment opportunities in the town centre, we are anticipating good demand from developers and investors, particularly as planning consent has now been secured.

“There are also very few freehold opportunities for commercial owner occupiers and accordingly, we are also expecting to receive interest from office, medical and educational users.”

Goadsby said: “The building is of brick construction with parking on the ground floor and five floors of offices above.

“Stairs lead to the main entrance and reception area which leads to stairs and a lift providing access to all floors (the lift currently does not provide access to the top floor).

“There is also a pedestrian access at the rear of the building from Upper Hinton Road.”
