A SOUTHBOURNE supermarket is getting a revamp for essential maintenance.
Tesco Express in Southbourne Grove is temporarily closed while works are carried out to improve the store.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “Our Southbourne Grove Express is temporarily closed whilst the store is refurbished.
“The store is having a refit to improve the shopping experience for customers which will include maintenance to the fridges, refurbishment of the checkout area, and a refresh of the lighting, shelving, and the front of the store.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and look forward to welcoming customers back to the refreshed store when it re-opens next week.”
The Tesco Express offers fresh and frozen food, drinks, household essentials and more.
A sign on the door reads the store temporarily closed on April 5 and will reopen on April 18 at 10am.
The nearest store is currently Tesco Pokesdown 980-982 in Christchurch Road in Boscombe.
