READING the recent article in the Daily Echo 2nd April, regarding what a parent has voiced and what the school said referring to ' hair cuts".

When are parents and pupils going to realise all schools have rules. Rules are in place for very good reasons, you may not always agree with them.

Why are parents supposedly supporting their offspring when they appear to have broken the rules.

What chance has anyone of us have to instil any form of discipline into our young people, more to the point what chance have schools.

My opinion is that the parents should be told if their child is out of order.

Bring back National Service then you all had the same hair cut - when you read this you will realise what age group I'm in.
