THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

AHMED ABUBAKER OMAR, 21 and of Norwich Avenue West, was found guilty of driving without insurance in Ringwood Road, Poole, on June 8, 2023. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £264, and ordered to pay costs of £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service. He also got six points on his licence.

BERNADETTE WHEELAN, 49 and of Everest Road in Christchurch, admitted four counts of theft. He stole packs of meat to the value of £103.64 from Asda in Frome on March 20, and a handbag from a woman in Asda at Castlepoint, Bournemouth, on August 5, 2023. He stole items worth £108.22 from Boots in New Bond Street in Weymouth on August 10, 2023, and a handbag from another woman in Weymouth on September 13, 2023. He also admitted four counts of fraud by false representation, after using bank cards from the stolen handbags purchase items in Castlepoint on August 5, 2023, and at Movil Zone and CEX in Weymouth on September 13, 2023. He was jailed for 16 weeks.

CHARLIE LYDFORD, 28 of Ashley Road in Poole, admitted causing criminal damage to a flat door, and using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress in Poole on November 30, 2023. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates' Court on January 12, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £30 in compensation, a victim surcharge of £26, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a fine of £40.

SONNY BENJAMIN TANNER, 29 and of Dibdin View in Bridport, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on September 5, 2023. He was jailed for ten weeks.

ANTHONY ARCHER, 44 and of Hasler Road in Poole, admitted drink driving and driving without insurance in Hasler Road in Poole on December 10, 2023. He got six points on his licence. He was also fined £747, ordered to pay costs of £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a victim surcharge of £299.

DANIEL LEWIS, 55 and of Salisbury Road in Shaftesbury, admitted drink driving in Shaftesbury Road in February 26. He was disqualified from driving for 23 months. He was also fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80.

JAMES CULBERT, 20 and of East Street in Corfe Castle, admitted drink driving in Ringwood Road in Ferndown, on July 17, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months. He was also ordered to pay £920 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, a victim surcharge of £150 and a fine of £375.

ARRON GRAY, 27 and of Bournemouth, admitted theft from a motor vehicle after stealing a black bag valued at £30 from a car in Avenue Car Park in Bournemouth Square on March 31. He was ordered to pay compensation of £261.64 and was fined £80.

GAVIN GUDGEON, 38 and of Westover Road in Bournemouth, was found guilty of sending an offensive / indecent / obscene / menacing message / matter to a man in Bournemouth on October 15, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until March 31, 2025 and a restraining order was made. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £250 and costs of £300 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
